Os Ransomware ou Vírus de encriptação têm assolado empresas e particulares. Estes vírus são variantes melhoradas do conhecido Criptolocker. Com centenas de variantes diferentes, o objetivo dos piratas é comum, encriptar por completo os dados das vítimas, e posteriormente pedir um resgate para restabelecer o acesso aos dados.
